Coupon & Cashback Stacking Calculator: Find Your Real Savings

A big discount doesn’t always mean you’re getting the best deal. Our free Coupon & Cashback Stacking Calculator helps you combine store sales, promo codes, cashback offers, and loyalty rewards to see what you’re really paying. Compare two shopping offers, factor in shipping and sales tax, and discover which deal offers better value. You can even check minimum-spend requirements, cashback limits, and how much those savings could add up over time.

✦ THE THRIFTY HABIT DEAL DETECTIVE

Stack the savings. Spot the traps. Pay less.

Compare two shopping offers, combine eligible discounts, and uncover the real cost after taxes, shipping, cashback, and future rewards.

A Offer A 🏷️
First store or promo
🎟️ Coupon stack
At checkout: $72.00 · $3.60 estimated cashback later
⚙️ Advanced: caps, tax, shipping, reward points, coupon order
Checked at the moment the $-off coupon applies.

Tax is estimated on the discounted merchandise subtotal, excluding shipping. Real tax and coupon treatment varies by location and offer. Cashback is estimated on qualifying merchandise only, excluding shipping and tax.

Another store or promo
🎟️ Coupon stack
At checkout: $74.80 · No estimated cashback
⚙️ Advanced: caps, tax, shipping, reward points, coupon order
Checked at the moment the $-off coupon applies.

Actual stacking eligibility, free-shipping thresholds, and cashback terms are controlled by the seller. This tool doesn’t verify promo codes.

💡 The math assumes your listed discounts really can stack. Retailers may exclude sale items, limit coupons, restrict cashback, or apply thresholds differently. Make sure each promotion is eligible before trusting the result.

All calculations run locally in your browser. The values are saved on this device; nothing is sent to The Thrifty Habit.

How does coupon stacking work?

Discounts usually aren’t simply added together. For example, a 20% store sale followed by a 10% coupon means a $100 item becomes $80, then $72 — an overall 28% merchandise discount, not 30%.

The calculator starts with the listed price, applies the store sale, then the extra percentage and dollar-off coupons in your chosen order. It checks any coupon minimum and estimated free-shipping threshold against the remaining merchandise subtotal. Next it adds estimated tax and shipping to show what you’d actually pay at checkout.

Cashback and loyalty rewards are shown separately because they might post later, have caps, or not be awarded at all. The effective cost assumes both arrive at the value you entered. For more context, read our guide to stacking cashback, coupons, and store rewards.

Comparison tip: Compare identical products and quantities wherever possible. When quantities differ, this tool uses effective cost per item to compare value and clearly flags the mismatch. Any repeat-purchase savings are hypothetical and require the same offer to remain available.
